Hi Everyone! It's time again for Daisy Doodles' Tableau Tuesdays. Here's my card:
I used the Wheel Barrow image and I love how easy it is to add some colour to dress it up for a card. I printed the image on a lilac cardstock and coloured it with copic markers. The patterned papers are all from Pink Paislee and I secured a ribbon with baker's twine to finish off the card.
Visit the Daisy Doodles blog for more inspiration and information on the current challenge and also to welcome a new Design team member!!
Have an Amazing day!

Waltzing Mouse Challenge #53
It looks like I'm really into purple recently, which is really strange, because I'm an "everything blue" sort of girl. But a change is good. Love this cute sketch from WMS Sketch Challenge this week.
I embossed the background with help of a Scor-buddy, did some piercing and used my white gel pen to connect the piercing. The rose was coloured with copic markers - V000, V01, V04 for the rose, and G02, G05, G17 & G29 for the leaves. A simple card.
I'm making sure that I post my card and link it correctly this week, cos last week I goofed up (click here to see my card for Challenge #52 which didn't make it to the WMS sketch blog... LOL!).
Have a lovely day!
Stamps : WMS Roses in Bloom, Afternoon Tea Sentiments

Papertrey Ink - Make It Monday "Reverse Masking"
I really like the reverse masking technique that Erin shared on Monday. I thought it was a fun technique to try, and so, here's my card. I masked the violets so that I could stamp it twice with different Polka Dot background stamps. And I used the same ink to fill the masked stamped sections, and some stickles to the flower centre. I think the flower looks almost paper pieced!
Right, I'm going to check out what everyone else has done. I'm sure they will be awesome and inspiring ;-)
Stamp : PTI Year of Flowers Violets, Polka Dot Basics II, Simple Sentiments
Ink : Memento Rich Cocoa (sentiment & flower outline), Rose Bud (outer petals), Dandelion
Other : Copic marker Y21 (flower centre), Stickles (orange), Baker's Twines (Lemondrop, Pink Sorbet, Blossom)
MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketches #24 & #25
Last week was really odd. I had a few posts for challenges which didn't get linked up and my post for Sketch #24 one never got posted as I had problems adding images on blogger. Grrr... anyway, it's ok, cos things are working now.
First of all, here's my entry for Sketch #25..
based on this sketch:
For this card, I was really into everything Cosmo Cricket, love the new Odds & Ends 6x6 pad. I think I used 7 oh wait, 8 different papers on this card...see, I told you, I LOVE the collection! To play along, check out the MFT blog and details here.
And this is my post that never got published last week:
Here's my favourite new PI girl with a drink and popcorn, so ready for a great movie. It's making me wish I should have gone to see a movie instead of doing some furniture shopping...(I'll explain in a bit). This card follows the sketch My Favorite Things' Wednesday Stamp Club.
It's been one of those days where nothing went right. I spoilt my cutting mat (I won't say how...err...just plain silly me..LOL), broke my nail and broke my phone accessory. To top it off, I decided to go out and buy a drawer unit to organise my craft supplies. Of course, I forgot to measure things properly and then when I got back I found the unit doesn't fit where I want it to be. Sigh! And, I'm too lazy to bring it back to the store. Do you ever have days like this? I think it's time for some ice-cream and hopefully things will get better.
That's it for today.
Here's wishing you a lovely day!

Inspirational Challenge
Here's a sketch I really like at Lilypad Cards by Lucy Abrams which was the inspirational source for my card above.
I wanted to achieve a tone on tone card using various shades of purple. I pulled out all the purple Memento inks I had, and stamped several images from the Large Doily set by Waltzing Mouse Stamps to create the stacked flowers. On the bottom layer of the larger flower, I did a little bit of rock n roll technique to get a darker shade of purple around the scalloped edges. Then on the second layer, I adhered some Lilac baker's twine to give the flower some interest. For the stem, I penciled the lines and then pierced along the lines, and went over them with a white gel pen. I did the same for the faux stitches underneath the sentiment. What do you think?
I look forward to see what inspires you at the Lilypad Cards and your creations.
Thanks for visiting today.

Unity Friends with Flair (24 June)
Hi Friends! How are you today? I'm sure everyone is looking forward to the weekend. I know I am!
Over here, the weather has been really hot and humid, and so, this crafter is finding it difficult to sit down and create. But, since it's Friday, she has a simple card to share along with the rest of the Unity fans - check them out at the Unity blog and leave comments for your chance to win some Unity.
The focal image was created using the kissing technique - using the butterfly stamp found on the June KOM and Worn Music stamp. First I inked the butterfly image with Memento Pear Tart, then stamped it on the Worn Music stamp inked with Memento Rich Cocoa. This allows the butterfly image to pick up the music notes and then I stamped the image on a piece of white cardstock. I used copic markers to fill in the white spaces of the stamped image. Click on the image for a larger view of the card.
If you have never tried this technique, give it a go. It's quite fun, and it works better with chunkier images. Alright, I'm ready to go do some hopping...
Take care, and have a fab weekend!

At The Beach
I love this stamp by The Craft's Meow of Frieda at the beach. She wears a dress which reminds me of one I had as a kid. I had fun colouring her and the bird - have you ever seen a bird with those colours? Yupe, I had a moment where I just wanted to create my own little bird. Here's a closer look at the card:
I did some piercing along the base patterned paper and then connected the piercing with a white gel pen, and I must say it does look pretty close to real sewing... for those who read my blog, you know I have issues with my sewing machine...LOL. I also added the white gel pen dashes & dots along the edge of the focal image.
This card was made for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge this week. I enjoyed the sharing by Marilynn on Faith, so true isn't it we often long for tangible evidence and favourable outcome in order to believe. But sometimes, faith is found in difficult situations and calls for a trust in the One we cannot see.
Enjoy today!

Hello There!
Hello there! I can't recall if I've ever made a colour block card, but it's always fun to try something new. I used a butterfly stamp fom The Craft's Meow to showcase the blocks of colours. To frame the blocks, I used some Baker's twine secured in place with Glossy Accents. I'm really loving theses twines from The Twinery.

Enjoy the colours around you today!

Waltzing Mouse Challenge #52
This week is the anniversary of WMS sketch challenge and we're all invited to select a favourite sketch from the whole year's 51 sketches to play along. For my card, I picked Sketch WMSC6. It looks rather fun and I've never made a card like this before.
I received my new stamp (as the lucky winner for Challenge #48) via the Royal Mail on Saturday. (Thank you, Claire!!) I felt the Doily set would be SO perfect to create a card with this sketch.
I stamped the large doily with Versamagic Pink Petunia and cut it with Spellbinders Large Scalloped Circle die. The smaller doily was stamped with Versamagic Red Magic and Tea Leaves and punched out with a 1" circle punch and adhered just below the large doily. After assembling the cardbase and the doilies, I added some i-rocks onto the large doily to give it a little sparkle.
Looking forward to see everyone's sketch pick and creations.
Hope your day is Amazing!

Daisy Doodles Challenge #36 - Stars and Stripes
Hi! I hope you had a marvellous Father's Day celebration over the weekend. We took my dad out to dinner and he enjoyed being out and the food. On Sunday morning, I spent some time with him sitting outside the house, basking in the morning sun and watching the world go by.
It's time for another Daisy Doodles Challenge! For this week's theme, I thought a little cupcake might be fun, with some stars and stripes. The cupcake image was coloured with copic markers (B32, B34 & B37 (base); R30 & R32 (cake); RV00 & RV02 (icing); R32, R35 & R37 (strawberry)).
Come play along with us - the rules are very simple, found here.
I look forward to see your creations ;)
Have a good week!

CPS Challenge #222
It's Saturday today, and I'm off to a lunch with some friends a little later - we're having Japanese. I can't wait! But, before that, here's a card for the CPS Challenge. I love MFT PI a lot, I'm sure you already know that... cos I've said it so often. I think this card could be suitable for celebrating a number of ocassions like a new baby, a wedding maybe, etc. I tried a new pink combo using copics RV11, RV02 and R00 for the little girl's dress and R30 & R32 for the flowers.
Oh, here's the CPS sketch and also the link to where you can post your entry to play along.
Enjoy your day!

Paper : October Afternoon, pink and white cardstock

Waltzing with WMS
The theme for today's Waltz is all about 4th of July/Americana. Frankly, I'm a little nervous as I have no idea what to do. All I know of the 4th of July are stars & stripes and fireworks.. errr. Hmmm...well, I suppose celebration also equals a tea party! So, that's what my card is - a 4th of July themed tea party invitation.
I did a little paper piecing, colouring, and a frame using baker's twine. To add a little interest, I added a couple of cute stars (can't forget to have stars!) at the bottom corner. I hope I did ok.
For more info on the Waltz and to see everyone who is participating, please click here. Ok, I can't wait to check out what everyone has created..
Have fun waltzing!

Hello Unity Friends!! It's that fun time where we get to be inspired by all the creative Unity fans. I can't wait to see what everyone has made this week! Come join us and comment and you can win some Unity stamps - click here to start!
Here's my card:
I had an awesome surprise this week because my June KOM arrived early!! YAY!! I really love the summer inspired images. So, no suprises that my card has that fabulous image I've been dying to ink up eversince the Kit was revealed! I stamped the image on a white cardstock and coloured it with copic markers and cut it out. I stamped the image again with the help of a Stamp-a-ma-jig on the patterned paper and popped the cut out image above it. The sentiments are from 3 separate stamps (any guesses how I got the word "on"?) and I cut them apart to form the words I wanted.
Here's that superb kit:
Hope you like the card, and I'm off to do some hopping!!

The Craft's Meow parade
Hi again. A new favourite stamping company of mine is The Craft's Meow. I ADORE their stamps and I really wish I can buy every set in the store. I think their stamps are quite my style, if I have one..haha..
Here are the cards:
Now, this last card is something that comes rather easy to me. Love this image from Sending You Sunshine set. The trees and the bird & bee are part of one image and the clothes are all separate images. I used a mix of Jillibean papers here for the border and paper piecing. The rest I coloured using various copic markers choosing the same colours from the floral border paper.
Have a creative day!!
Here are the cards:

I guess you realise I'm having so much fun with these stamps, right? There are a couple more cards in the making still from another two stamp sets. Will share these soon...
Paper : Jillibean Watermelon Gazpacho 6x6 pad, Blossom Soup 6x6 pad
Ink : Memento Lulu Lavender, Tuxedo Black & Rich Cocoa, Copic markers
Other : Pearls from Zva Creative, ribbon, white gel pen. Feel Better Soon
I love WMS sketch challenges, but I don't own many WMS stamps (hoping to get more soon ;)). For my card today, I opted for some pretty papers from Webster's Pages to decorate the card. I love the vibrant colours of the Spring Market collection and felt it would make a nice uplifting card for someone who isn't feeling too good. I also made some rolled paper flowers and used some punch-outs to decorate the card.
It's been so hot and humid here the past week, hoping for cooler weather soon.
Take care!
Stamps : WMS Afternoon Tea (frame), Afternoon Tea Sentiments (sentiment), Faux Fun Circles (pattern on one of the rolled flowers)
Paper : Webster's Pages Spring Market 6x6 pad, Waiting for Santa 6x6 pad, PTI kraft cardstock

Other : Zva Creative pearls, MS leaf & butterflies punches

Hi, it's been sometime since I shared some cards for MFT's Wednesday Stamp Club. These are from the last 2 sketches:
The image is from MFT Pure Innocence Making a List and papers from Jillibean Blossom Soup, a current favourite of mine.
Here's the sketch from the previous week:
This card showcased some of my MFT PI collection. I just love these cute little girls and can't have enough of them. Pretty irresistible!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are having a great day!
