Inspired Stamps - Christmas Cards Set

Hello Friends!  The weeks have been flying by and I can't believe we're a month away from Christmas!  Have you started sending out your Christmas cards?  Today my Inspired Stamps project is a Christmas cards set.

I decided to make a non-traditional Card set with quick and easy colouring.  On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped the Poinsettia image all over in different direction.  With a sponge dauber, I dabbed colours onto the image using Memento Rhubarb Stalk, New Sprout and Summer Sky.  Then I cut the cardstock into different shapes to fit on the cards and started assembling the cards.

 Here are the finished cards:

The cards came together pretty quickly and I used the following stamp sets (Click on the image for link to the Inspired Stamps store) :

Christmas Poinsettia

Birthday Card

Happy Tuesday!  Did you do any shopping over the weekend?  I certainly did my share of shopping for dies, stamps and papers.  It was fun!  I just wish I had an unlimited budget to spend :)

This card was made for a friend of mine who had his birthday recently.  Usually I never have suitable cards for guys but I think this one worked.  I used a digital image from Wee Stamps, and printed it on Neenah cardstock and coloured the image with Copic Markers.

The bunny's a cutie, isn't he?

Wishing you a wonderful week!

Inspired Stamps - Birthday Card

Hello! Today's Inspired Stamps' post is a Birthday card.  I used a combination of a few stamp sets to create the card, i.e. Proverbs 3:5, Comfort and Perfect Sentiments.

Hope you like the card.  Please visit the Inspired Stamps blog to see DeNetra's beautiful card and announcement of some winners!

Wishing all my American friends Happy Thanksgiving!  Have a wonderful celebration with your family and loved ones.

Simply With Thanks

Hi There!  I'm really excited to be able to join this month's Waltzing Mouse Stamps Blog Party, it's been way too long, hasn't it?  I Love the Gratitude theme for this Blog Party, it's good to find time to reflect on things of this life to be thankful for.

Indeed, I have so much to be thankful for this year.  I moved from KL to Perth, and it's been pretty smooth so far.  So thankful for wonderful friends in Perth (old and new ones) who have helped me settle in.  I'm also thankful for a job and soon... a home of my own.  I can't wait to move and to finally have a craft room I've been wishing for a long while.  I am also so thankful for the community of crafters who have encouraged me to create... I must apologise if I have not been visiting your blogs.  Once life goes back to normal, I promise I will be back to follow your creative journey.

Here's my little card:
I am really in love with the Camellia set, love the pretty flowers and the sentiments.  I wanted to be a little adventurous in the colour combo choice, and I hope it has worked out ok.  The Camellias and leaves are coloured with Copic Markers, and here are the colours I've used:

To assemble the flowers, I used foam adhesives with different thickness to give the images some dimension.  Wish you could see the card in real life... ;)  The card follows the latest sketch challenge by Karin, at the Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge: Challenge #124.

Inspired Stamps - Happy Thanksgiving

This week's Inspired Stamps project is about Thanksgiving.  Inspired Stamps has some really beautiful sets with Scripture and sentiments just perfect for this theme.  I certainly have lots to be thankful for this year - God has been so gracious to me.  Although life is still hectic, I'm slowly settling in, and soon will be moving to a place of my own.  I can't wait!

The stamps I used are from the set ThanksgivingI stamped the sentiment on the die-cut, but I masked off the bottom part of the sentiment.  Then I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured the image with Copic Markers.  On the orange die-cut I stamped the leaf from the set Thank You all around the edges with Memento Rhubarb Stalk.

Inspired Stamps will be 2 years old next week, and Antoinette has put together a Super Special to celebrate - 25% off your entire order in November!!  How Awesome!!  Here's the coupon you will need:

25Thanks

Inspired Stamps - Ornaments

Hi there!  This week's Inspired Stamps project is creating an ornament.  I've never made an ornament before, but it was fun.  I think there are so many Inspired Stamps to choose from which will be perfect for ornaments.

I selected the sentiment from Winter Ruth, and split them up to stamp it to fit the centre of the ornament.  I hope you like the idea.  Be sure to check out the Inspired Stamps blog for more awesome ideas from the Design Team!

Thanks for visiting me.
Have a lovely day!
