It's been ages since I last made a little accordion album. Our Inspired Stamps assignment this week is to make a project using flowers and Scripture. Instead of a card, I thought I could try something different. The album measures 2x2", cut using the Sizzix die. This was so fun to
put together - I admit it took longer than I planned...a little out of
practice.
The flowers are found in the centre panel of the accordion album. I stamped the flowers from Butterflies and Bloom set on a piece of patterned paper and coloured them with Copics.
The Scripture is from Romans 8:31, a simple statement but so powerful a message. Love this verse.
And here is the album with all the panels. You can click on the image for a view of the full album.
Hope you like the idea. Please click on the links for the stamps I've used if you would like to purchase them.
Thank you for visiting me. Have a great day!

Celebrating Julie's Blogoversary
Welcome to the 3rd Edition of "Julie's Blogoversary Blog Hop". We're so glad you have joined us! Julie has gathered together her friends and tons of sponsors to make this a GREAT event!
Here are our wonderful sponsors!
You'll be inspired by each stop of the hop. The theme, "Lucky to Call You Friend" will be evident in the projects of Julie and her friends. Many of the talented ladies have blog candy to give away on their blogs, so watch for that, and follow the individual rules on their blogs for how to win it.
My first project is a card with Copics with Julie in mind. Love this beautiful stamp by Unity called Camille. The sentiment is just perfect for a friend and the flowers in her hair are gorgeous - they really make the image so colourful. Here's to you Julie...
A warm thank you and a big hug to Julie!! I'm so honoured to hop along with Julie's talented friends. If you would like to leave a comment, I'll pick a name and will send you a Unity gift. Make sure you check back on the blog next Monday for the winner announcement.
Here's the list of Julie's friends participating in the hop:

Inspired Stamps - Scripture card
Hello again! Today's Inspired Stamps project is using Scripture as the main focal point on a card. One of the goals for me this year is to make more Scripture cards to give as gifts. In my Uni days, I used to make cards and bookmarks for friends with Scripture to encourage friends and I think that is a good thing.
I used the 2x2 Scripture sentiment Romans 8:38-39 and stamped it on patterned paper. To finish off the card, I added some flowers and punched butterflies with a strip of lace placed at the bottom of the card.
Thank you for visiting me, and have a wonderful weekend!

Inspired Stamps - Green card
Hello Friends! This week I am sharing a "Green" card for Inspired Stamps project. I've selected one of my favourite Scripture for the card and I have a little confession, I'm not really into green and find it hard to make a card with just green as the main colour.
I'm so glad for the patterned paper which had a little purple accent in it. I wouldn't have picked purple to go with green but I think this combo has worked on this card :) The Scripture sentiment I've used is the 2x2 Scripture sentiment James 1:17.
Have a great day!

Unity Thursday Hop {5 March 2015}
Hello Everyone! It's a special Thursday hop today as Unity is hopping with Operation Write Home. There's lots happening, and we'd like to invite you to the party :)
It's a new KOTM and I really enjoyed playing with some of my favourite images from the kit.
First is the Gorgeous cupcake... I'm really practising with watercolour pencils. Not as much control as using Copics but lots of fun nevertheless.
Here's another image with the March KOTM. I've not decided if this is going to be a card or if I should frame it. What do you think?

The image was coloured using Copics, and here's a close up as well.

comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity and Operation Write
Home blogs) for your chance to win. The winners will be announced
