Peonies - No Line Colouring

I absolutely LOVE this Mondo Peony stamp set by Julie Ebersole.

I thought the stamp set was perfect to use with the No-Line Colouring technique.  Well, here's my first attempt.  I stamped the peony using Memento Angel Pink and used Copic markers to colour all the images.

Products used : Ellen-Mondo Peony stamp, Totally Fabulous die, Honey Bee-Bless Your Heart stamp, Copic markers, Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die

The colours were inspired by this beautiful autumn collage in the Ellen November Pin-Sights challenge.

Unity Brown Thursday Hop {10 November 2016}

Hi, Hi!  So glad you stopped by today.
Why do I get the feeling the days are passing by so fast?  It's November and so close to end of the year!  I must be getting really old because when one is young, time seem to pass so slowly.

We are almost into Christmas, but before that Unity has some really awesome Brown Thursday releases.

Alright, here are the cards - I made some with the new Phyllis Harris stamp sets:

To create the illusion of falling snow, I spritzed some water from about 12 inches away from the cardstock. I also added some larger drops on the top part of the image using a brush with the smaller drops closer to the girl image.

For the above card, i wanted soft colours on the girl and her dog image.  I used a lot of yellows and orange copics to colour the image.

This is a nice image for a new family.  I think it can be a Welcome Baby card.

I was inspired by old children's book illustration and the colours when I was creating this card.  I decided not to add any sentiment to the front of the card.

This is probably my fave image.  I love that it is so fun and I love that sentiment with the bold Happiness word.  To add some interest I sponged the background with some distress inks.

So many great sets, right? Which is your favourite?

Come and hop along with us for some fun and prizes too.

That was a long post!!  Have a great day and Happy Shopping!!
