Inspired Stamps 2x2 Scripture card

Hello Friends!  I have a little Inspired Stamps notecard to share today using the 2x2 Scripture stamp Romans 8:28.  The 2x2 Scripture stamp range is so popular and perfect for making notecards.  My notecard measures 4.25 x 4.25".

On the Scripture sentiment piece, I stamped a floral image at the bottom using for some interest. It's so easy to make a bunch of these notecards as a set to give away.

Antoinette is having a giveaway on the Inspired Stamps blog - if you have an idea for a HYMN LINE stamp (shape, character, HYMN GIRL, etc) that hasn't been created yet, just post it on the blog.  If your suggestion is chosen, you will win 2 stamps (one to keep; one to give to a friend).  You can post 1 time a day on the blog AND 1 time a day on the FB page with just one idea.  Do not post multiple ideas in one comment. Read all about it here.

Please also check out God Bless Your Art blog as Antoinette is starting a series called 31 Days of March: Beginning Bible Art Journaling segment this SUNDAY, MARCH 1st.  It's free and there is nothing to sign up for, just stop by and follow the posts.

Thank you for visiting me.  Have a fabulous day!

Unity Thursday Hop {19 Feb 2015}

Happy Thursday!! When this post goes live, I'm probably feasting away with the family celebrating Chinese New Year.  I haven't been back to celebrate with my parents since moving downunder.  Some of you may know my dad suffers from Alzheimers and he is now rather frail.  I want to remember the moments and spend the important celebrations with him.

We are also celebrating Unity today - this by far is my favourite month.  There's some awesome Unity kits I can't wait to share with you some projects using these kits.

Like the wonderful Feb KOTM - I just love every stamp in the set!  On this card I've used the feather and the butterfly stamps.  They go so well, don't they?

Here's a card which you may have seen on the Unity blog last week.  When I saw the elegant shoe I could immediately picture the card I wanted to create.  That sentiment is just perfect with the image.

Recently, I have started playing with watercolour pencils.  Love the Derwent Inktense pencils - I absolutely love the 72 colour set.  Here is a little project I made using Stamp of the Week Sweet Elle and a card I made with the fabby February Layers of Life set.

As always, Angela has two wonderful prizes for you who hop with us.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.

Thank you for visiting me today. {Hugs}

Inspired Stamps - Praying for you

Hello again!  Today's Inspired Stamps theme is Praying for you.  I've taken a different spin and used a Scripture stamp instead.

Here is the card:
A monochromatic look achieved by stamping the Hymn Girl on a soft patterned paper and lots of matting.  The stamp sets used are Hymn Girls : January and Nehemial 1:11.

Wishing you a lovely day!!

Unity Thursday Hop {5 February 2015}

Happy Thursday!! Omg, we are already into February.  Another week at work then I'll be back to visit my parents for Chinese New Year.  I can't wait!

I LOVE this new cute Welcome to the Hood set by Lisa Arana!!

I made this card in a rush and the photo isn't the best but hope you'll love the stamp as much as I do.

Next is this sweet tulips set, Have a little Faith:

Keeping the post really short :)  Thanks for visiting me, and enjoy the Hop!!

Inspired Stamps - Thinking of You

This has been such a busy week at work.  It's good to always take a break and pull out my stamps and make a card :)  Today's Inspired Stamps card is a simple Thinking of You card.

If you are thinking of getting the Hymn Girls set, you should have this set Hymn Girl-Sitting with Sign.  I love the message board the girl is holding - you can add any sentiment in it.  It's great to make a set of cards with different sentiments to give away.

Thank you for visiting me, hope you have a lovely day!!
