Over here, the weather has been really hot and humid, and so, this crafter is finding it difficult to sit down and create. But, since it's Friday, she has a simple card to share along with the rest of the Unity fans - check them out at the Unity blog and leave comments for your chance to win some Unity.
The focal image was created using the kissing technique - using the butterfly stamp found on the June KOM and Worn Music stamp. First I inked the butterfly image with Memento Pear Tart, then stamped it on the Worn Music stamp inked with Memento Rich Cocoa. This allows the butterfly image to pick up the music notes and then I stamped the image on a piece of white cardstock. I used copic markers to fill in the white spaces of the stamped image. Click on the image for a larger view of the card.
If you have never tried this technique, give it a go. It's quite fun, and it works better with chunkier images. Alright, I'm ready to go do some hopping...
Take care, and have a fab weekend!
Stamps : Unity KOM June 2011, Worn Music
Paper : Cosmo Cricket Odds n Ends
Ink : Memento Pear Tart, Rich Cocoa, Tuxedo Black
Other : i-rock crystals, ribbon, MS leaf punch
