Today's Inspired Stamps project is a Scripture card. Did you know that Inspired Stamps have a huge selection of 2x2 Scripture stamps - they are such good value at just $3.99 each.
The 2x2 single Scripture stamp I used on my card is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. The Scripture sentiments are so easy to work with and they can be the focal point on cards.
Lately I have been playing with the shimmer sprays and making my own background paper. The photo doesn't show up well the embossed frame on the background paper and the embossed edges of the Scripture sentiment piece.
Only a week away before the November release day... there's some lovely new sets out next week! Hope you'll be back to visit us on November 5th.
Have a great day!

I Can Do All Things
I love this Scripture verse from Philippians 4:13. It was one of my favourite Scripture memory verses during my school days, and I've never forgotten it. Our Inspired Stamps assignment this week is Tag and Stamps.
I started with a tag, and stamped the Inspired Shapes on it in green and red ink (the hash sign and the heart) Then I stamped the Scripture sentiment in black, and stamped the word Christ on white cardstock and cut it out and adhered it with pop dot on the tag. The edges of the tag was distressed with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
Please visit the Inspired Stamps Blog for more fun ideas from the Design Team.

Inspired Stamps - Christmas
This week's Inspired Stamps project is about Christmas. I just couldn't resist using the Luke 2:14 mini set again - love this set. (Sorry the image is not the best, it was late at night when the photo was taken)
The image was stmaped on white Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copic Markers (YG91, G94, G99, Y38, Y21, E13, E15, E18). Can you see the sewing on the card? I've been having fun with a new sewing machine;)
Keeping this post really short, so you'll have a chance to visit the Inspired Stamps Blog for more Christmas ideas.
Have a great day!

Inspired Stamps - Thank You
Hi! This week's Inspired Stamps project is Design Team's choice. I really wanted to play with the new stamp set, Inspired Shapes more, with inking technique.

I took this photo at an angle to show the shimmer from the Perfect Pearls
I stamped the circle border on white cardstock with Versamark, and heat embossed with Detailed White Embossing powder. Then, I added some Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Shabby Shutters, Barn Door and Evergreen Bough) and brushed on some Perfect Pearls before the inks dry. To seal the Perfect Pearls, I spray misted some water on the cardstock and heat set it dry.
On another piece of cardstock, I stamped the butterfly & flowers image using Memento Rich Cocoa. The image was coloured with Copic Markers - Butterfly (BG01, G00) and Flowers (R81, R83, R85, R00, YG01, YG03, YG17) and cut out using a circle Spellbinders die. I added some Atyou Spica Clear Glitter pen over the butterfly and flower centres.
Here are the stamp sets I used:
Inspired Shapes
Butterflies and Blooms
Perfect Sentiments
Please head over to the Inspired Stamps blog to see all the fabulous creations from the rest of the Design Team.
Thank you for visiting.

Inspired Stamps May Sneak Peek #2
Welcome to the second day of the May Inspired Stamps Sneak Peek! Jenn and I are showcasing the set Inspired Shapes today. I have to say there are so many possibilities with this set. If you love Art Journalling, you'd have to have it! If you are not really into Art Journalling nor mixed media, like me, you'll find this set utterly fun too. I love geometric shapes and there are some cool shapes in this set!
For my card, I decided to use the hexagon border. Hexagons are certainly so trendy right now. On a piece of pink cardstock, I stamped the hexagon border a few times as shown, and coloured them with Copic Markers. Here are the colours I used: Bottom row - RV63, RV66. RV69, Next row up - BV00, BV02, BV04, 3rd row up - RV14, RV17, RV19, 4th row up - V12, V15, V17, Top row - RV00, RV02, RV04. After colouring the borders, I embossed the pink cardstock with an embossing folder. The sentiment is from Guard Your Heart set, and I inked up part of the stamp with Memento Grape Jelly.
Here's another look at the card:
I hope you are excited about this new release, they will be available at noon, this Friday. Be sure to check Jenn's awesome project as well as the Inspired Stamps blog.
Take care!
Kary
