Hi! This week's Inspired Stamps project is Design Team's choice. I really wanted to play with the new stamp set, Inspired Shapes more, with inking technique.
I took this photo at an angle to show the shimmer from the Perfect Pearls |
I stamped the circle border on white cardstock with Versamark, and heat embossed with Detailed White Embossing powder. Then, I added some Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Shabby Shutters, Barn Door and Evergreen Bough) and brushed on some Perfect Pearls before the inks dry. To seal the Perfect Pearls, I spray misted some water on the cardstock and heat set it dry.
On another piece of cardstock, I stamped the butterfly & flowers image using Memento Rich Cocoa. The image was coloured with Copic Markers - Butterfly (BG01, G00) and Flowers (R81, R83, R85, R00, YG01, YG03, YG17) and cut out using a circle Spellbinders die. I added some Atyou Spica Clear Glitter pen over the butterfly and flower centres.
Here are the stamp sets I used:

What a beautiful background panel, Kary! I love the flowers and butterfly, too. Very pretty!
Need I say more?:) It's a beautiful card.
Oh Kary this must be so beautiful IRL with the shimmer from the perfect pearls. Love that background and I recognised the stamp immediately - I have just received mine :-)
Love the way you have framed everything in the red - it really takes the eye to the features of the card.
