WMS Blog Waltz - Summertime Fun

Hello! Wow, I can't believe it's the 17th of the month - time has really flown so quickly.  It's my second day back in Perth, and feeling a little sad, but cheering myself up joining the WMS Blog party ;) Since the theme is about Summer (though it's pretty cold downunder), I made a card about all the fun activities a kid could do in Summer.

If I were a kid again, I think these are the fun stuff I would definitely enjoy.  A ride in a spaceship, a cool car (perhaps not on the road, but maybe in a carnival) and of course a trip underwater.  All the images and sentiments are from the Half Pint Heroes stamp set, and the coloured with Copic markers.

Here's a little closer look at the card...
I added some glossy accents wherever there's glass on each of the vehicles.  I think this could be a fun card for a little boy.

I can't wait to see what exciting Summer projects everyone has made!

Thank you for visiting me.
Kary

Absolutely brilliant! I love the colouring on this card - just perfect. As a kid I can remember making a spaceship out of a blanket pinned over a washing line!
