Copics on Canvas

Happy Friday!  It's been a full-on week for me.  I've been catching up with friends whom I have not seen in ages, and having a great time.  Last night, I realised I don't have a Unity project for today, and whipped up a little something with the supplies left on my desk :)

I've never tried using Copics on sticky back Canvas before and this is my first attempt.  The flower stamp is from one of my favourite older Unity sets - Quiet Essence.

I stamped the flower using Memento Rich Cocoa onto the sticky back canvas.  The Copics I used are:
Flower, large petals - R32, R35, R37, R39
Flower, small petals - R81, R000
Flower centre - Y17, R30
Leaves - YG21, YG23, YG25
Background - Colourless blender and BG10

One thing I discovered, you have to be a little careful not to saturate the canvas with too much ink as it will bleed.  Just really light strokes of colour will suffice.

I adhered the canvas on a small piece of cardstock and then wrapped some tissue tape around the canvas.  To finish off the card, I added a small bunch of rosettes tied together, and added a swarovski crystal on the twine bow.

Hope you like the idea.

Thank you for visiting me, have a Great day!
Kary
