Thanks for Everything

Today's card is an inspiration from the Papertrey Make it Monday using the Impression plates.  I used the Alphabets Impression plate with the Banner dies to create the background, then did a little stamping on the banner section.  The carnation was stamped twice on patterned paper and the flower centre was raised with pop dots & used copic markers to colour the petals.  It's a really fast & easy card to make.

I've had a wonderful week in Hanoi, and survived the treacherous hike in Sapa (close to the China border) - it was so wet and muddy.  But the views are worth it, the fields are so beautiful and the people so friendly.  Most of all, I had a really wonderful time with my friends.  I haven't sorted out my pictures, but here's a few to share.
