Waltzing Mouse Blog Party! This month's theme is Felt or Cozy Fabrics and I am so looking forward to see Everyone's fabulous projects!
Half-Pint Heroines, with a lot of fussy cutting ;) I would love to ride in a Hot Air Balloon someday - it would be so awesome and fun! Till then, I'd have to rely on my imagination... to create the scene for this card :)
For the landscape, I used two colours of felt, and die-cut them with Wonky Scallop border. I adhered the felt to the cardstock and arranged all the elements as shown. I added some Baker's twine to connect the hot air balloon to the basket. The sentiment was stamped using the new Memento Teal Zeal (love this colour!) and I popped it up on a strip of the same blue paper.
Would you believe that the inspiration for this card came from the WMS Sketch by Lynn this week? It was certainly with some added imagination on my part, LOL!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to check out the Fabulous projects on Claire's blog from all the WMS fans participating today.
