Unity Thursday Hop {19 Feb 2015}

Happy Thursday!! When this post goes live, I'm probably feasting away with the family celebrating Chinese New Year.  I haven't been back to celebrate with my parents since moving downunder.  Some of you may know my dad suffers from Alzheimers and he is now rather frail.  I want to remember the moments and spend the important celebrations with him.

We are also celebrating Unity today - this by far is my favourite month.  There's some awesome Unity kits I can't wait to share with you some projects using these kits.

Like the wonderful Feb KOTM - I just love every stamp in the set!  On this card I've used the feather and the butterfly stamps.  They go so well, don't they?

Here's a card which you may have seen on the Unity blog last week.  When I saw the elegant shoe I could immediately picture the card I wanted to create.  That sentiment is just perfect with the image.

Recently, I have started playing with watercolour pencils.  Love the Derwent Inktense pencils - I absolutely love the 72 colour set.  Here is a little project I made using Stamp of the Week Sweet Elle and a card I made with the fabby February Layers of Life set.

As always, Angela has two wonderful prizes for you who hop with us.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.

Thank you for visiting me today. {Hugs}

Oh my gosh, Kary! That first card is out-of-this-world gorgeous! I LOVE it! I hope you are savoring Chinese New Year with your family.

I don't know if you know, but my FIL has ALS. He is failing fast. It is nearly a year ago my father died, and it probably won't be long until we lose my father-in-law. Treasure those family times, Kary. They are gone before you know it!
