Real Strength

Summer is almost coming to an end where I am.  I am going to miss the long sunny days even though sometimes it's just too hot.  Well, I'll just have to think Spring and perhaps it will come around soon enough..LOL!

Here's a card made for the JustRite Friday Challenge #115, in Cheerful Spring Palette.
I used the stamp sets Coffee Cup and Ribbons & Swags Vintage Labels Seven for this card.  The coffee cup is coloured with Copic Markers.  I love the colours of the patterned paper from BasicGrey Fresh Cut, and I die-cut a piece of vellum and adhere it above the patterned paper so that it does not compete with the sentiment and stamped image.

I hope you have a great day, wherever you are!

Thank you for visiting me.

Oh Kary - this is an amazing card - love the way the vellum softens the background and lets the cup and quote take the limelight.

Agree with what Maxine says about the vellum. Looks like a lot of work is involved.
