A Little Birthday Card

Hello!  So very happy the weekend is here.  I'm up early this Saturday morning to make a card for a little girl who turned one this week, whose party I'm about to attend.  What do people do at such parties?

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate card for a little girl but it was all the inspiration I had this morning...
Maybe she might enjoy the present more, which I had to ask a few friends for suggestions.  I ended up with this educational toy.

Hope she'll play with it for a few minutes at least...LOL!

Have a great weekend, Everyone!!  I can't wait to see what you create, will take me a little while before I get to visit your blogs...

Cheers
Kary

Brilliant coloring and just perfect for a 1-year old (the parents will pay more to attention to the card than the child- ha, ha!).

Fun design and texture on your card, Kary. Sadly, at that age, it seems they play with the gift wrap and boxes more than the gifts!! Hope you have a fun time.

Fabulous card Kary - I think the cards are more for the parents than the children at that age ;-)!!I too often get 'stuck' on cards for wee children.

I'm not sure a 1-year old appreciates anything for very long, but her parents will. Very nice!
