Inspired Stamps - Winter card

Hello, this week's Inspired Stamps project is a Winter themed card.  I have to admit it's a little hard to be thinking of Winter when the weather has been so hot and humid in Australia ;)

I used the new Snowmen set, which is such a cute set for my card.  I stamped the same snowman on my card three times with a bit of masking technique.  The Snowmen were coloured with Copic makers (R32, R35, B91, B93, YG03, YG17, BG0000).  I love the sentiment which is in an open font and I added some colour with Copic marker B91.

The bottom section of the card was embossed using a snowflake border die.  I added some colour to the embossed snowflake using BG000 and G00.  To finish up the card, I added some blings and twines and button at the top of the card.

For more inspiration, please visit the Inspired Stamps blog, and while you are there, check out the 52 Weeks of Gratitude challenge.  Join the challenge and you could win some prizes.

Have a great day!
Kary

Those snowmen are totally sweet! It's actually too cold for snow here today. We woke up to 0°F. Yikes!

Kary, can I box up some of this cold stuff for you, I'd be happy to get a little of it off my hands!?! lol. I love your card, what a great idea to mask the images...and I didn't realize that was embossing until I read your post! I thought they were made of twine, what a great idea to highlight them with Copics!

This is adorable, Kary! They really do look joyful, don't they? I have to admit, I'm not feeling sorry for you at all with your hot, humid weather here in the deep freeze. :)

Kary this is fabulous - especially as you are in the middle of summer - we are pretty warm here too, thankfully we don't get much humidity.
