Inspired Stamps - Christmas Card

Hello!  Have you started making any Christmas cards?  If you are thinking about starting, make sure you head over to the Inspired Stamps blog this week.  The Design Team is showcasing Christmas cards, and I'm sure you will be inspired.

I am always thinking of mass producing Christmas cards but every year I never get round to it due to bad planning.  This year, I've been experimenting a little and making a few simple cards which I could mass produce.  Here's one of them:

I created a background with the holly stamp and coloured the berries with a marker pen.  Then I cut a piece of fancy edged red cardstock and white embossed the sentiment.  To finish off the card, I just tied a bow with gingham ribbon.  I was thinking perhaps I could add a little bell to the bow :)

The stamp set I used is Christmas Poinsettia:

Hope you like the idea.  Life has been so hectic and I wish I could have another 12 hours in my day ;) just to be able to sit down and stamp and colour.  Perhaps this weekend...

Have a wonderful day!

Kary this is so beautiful - sweet, and really showing the true meaning of Christmas. I love the way you have used white on red for the sentiment.
