No Dream Is Too Big - Growing In Unity Day 1

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to be the Growing In Unity (GIU) girl this week!  I can't believe how quickly time flies.  I hope you'll enjoy the Unity projects I'll be sharing this week, and I'd like to invite you to follow and comment along for your chance to win Two Itty Bittys of your choice.  I'll pick a winner at the end of the week and announce it on Sunday.

All of you know how much I love colouring and Unity stamps...  so you can expect a whole week of some of my favourite Unity stamps and of course some Copics colouring ;).  My cards are generally simple, and I love adding patterned papers and die-cuts.

I made this card before I moved from Kuala Lumpur to Perth.  It was a little card just for me, to remind myself that one is never too old to pursue new dreams.   It's quite a challenge to move to a place I've never been to, and especially to work full-time again after a long break.  But, it's been pretty smooth so far.

Picture of determination
I love this little set from Phyllis Harris named Determination - and guess what, it's on sale right now!

Thanks for visiting me today!  Please check back tomorrow for another Unity project.

Take care,
Kary

Your coloring made those boots look so much like real leather that I'm pretty sure it would be a shock to feel them and feel just paper instead!

The boots remind me of the song "These Boots Are Made for Walking) by Nancy Sinatra (daughter of the late Frank Sinatra). The boy looks cheeky enough to use maximum determination to give the boots a try and not get "booted" out. Ha! Ha!

I got so excited when I saw you were the GIU gal for this week because I knew I'd see lots of amazing coloring this week. This first card is a dandy. LOVE those boots! I so wish I could color like you. I gotta keep practicing.

WOW, I didn't realize there was a giveaway involved, I am working backwards from day three! I would love to win some Unity Stamps, I don't own any and I drool over them all the time.

I am so fascinated with the way you color with your Copic markers. I have a small set of them and I can never get the kind of affects you do! Did you take any classes or are you self taught? Either way, you are extremely talented and I love your cards!

Thanks so much for sharing with us all this week. I am enjoying seeing what you create each day and now am following your blog as well!
