I found a piece of patterned paper which I had already cut the sides with a chevron die. It was perfect, I trimmed the length to fit my standard sized card, and stamped the flowers from Flourishes "With Gratitude" set. The stamped image looked sort of flat, and so I added some colours with Prismacolor pencils to bring out the flowers. No fancy shading, just really quick bits of colouring. I punched some holes along the edges of the patterned paper using a screwpunch, and adhered the patterned paper to a piece of embossed cardstock. The sentiment piece was a section of the patterned paper which I had trimmed off. To finish off the card, I added a little button with twine, and the card is done!
Thanks for visiting today.

This is so sweet Kary - such a quick card and yet it looks like a million dollars.

Very pretty! I like that you stamped on the dp itself and fun designed edge. Thanks for playing in Flourisehs Gimme 10 challenge this week.
Your card looks so sophisticated Kary! I love the lacy embossed half, and all the color and design on the opposite half! Beautiful design and balance!
I'm not sure I can make anything in ten minutes! :D The subtly-coloured flowers on the patterned paper are beautiful.
Fantastic 10-minute creation, Kary! I had fun playing with this challenge, too. :)
If this card is done in ten minutes, it is beautifully done.
