Unity Thursday Hop {28 May 2015}

Hello Unity Friends!  It has been such a crazy hectic week for me... feels like I'm running around like a headless chook!  Is that an expression that you use too? LOL!!

I rarely make the same card design twice but I have been so busy lately.  I needed some cards for friends, I thought it would be faster to just use the same layout.

I used the flower image from the May KOTM.  I'm not very good when it comes to colouring flowers like these so it took sometime for me to get it to how I like it.

Here is the version B with purple flowers.

This card went out to a friend who had just lost her mom.  I really felt her loss and sadness.  I hope the card would bring some cheer.

Unity Thursday Hop {14 May 2015}

Hello Friends!  It's funny how time seems to move a lot slower when you are back from a vacation.  Anyway, it's great to be back because I look forward to Thursdays so much.

My card today uses the set You Have Made A Difference by Angie Blom and Joslyn Nielson .

There's some great freebies with purchase this week... and my favourite is this little owl.

Inspired Stamps May New Release

Hello Everyone!  I'm joining Antoinette today to showcase the new May Inspired Stamps release.  The new sets are what we need for Mother's Day, Father's Day and a Children's set.

First up is the new Hymn Girls : Mother's Day set - what a lovely set!!

Mothers are always special and they deserve an extra touch to their card.  I added some fun elements on the card to give it dimension and create a scene.

Next is the Hymn Girls : Father's Day set.  I tend to buy lots of girly stamps and when it comes to a masculine card, I am at a loss.  Well, here is a wonderful set for Dad or the man in your life.

Lastly, the cutest set ever with a little girl and Scripture sentiments.

I thought it would be nice to have a bright cutesy card for a little girl or her parents.
