This new kit is called Part Of Us, and I love how the cat and dog sat together like friends.

I must apologise for the less than perfect lighting - I have been going home so late from work when daylight is gone...lol!

I have a second card using the set Looking Within.  I love the sentiment by Helen Keller and the pretty flowers around the girl.

My next card uses the set Feathers, Wings and Refuge.

My friend is going through a tough time at work and I wanted to give her a card to encourage her.

I kept the card really simple and let the image and the sentiment be the focal point. I hope she will like the card.

Here's my last card uses So Lucky To Have You kit.

I wish I had time to play with all the new sets.  They. Are. Amazing!!!

Unity Hop {13 July 2017}

Hi, Hi!
It's time again for the Unity Hop.
I hope you look forward to this time of the month as much as I do.

Let's start off with the Super sweet Planner Girls.  I love, love, Love these girls so much!!

A few of you asked about the dies I used - the frame is from Mama Elephant, Madison Avenue and the white Stitched rectangle is from Lawn Fawn, Stitched Journaling Cut.
The dies used here are from Lil Inker Cover Plate Diamond Lace and Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Rectangles.

They are so sweet and I think you'll agree :)

Here's a cute little shaker card.
It's so hard to get a good photo as the weather has been cold, dark and rainy all week here.

Finally, here is a card made with this month's Sentiment Kit.

I really love this cute owl and the balloons around him.  The sentiments are really so fun for birthdays.

Please click over to the Unity shop to view all the new releases.

Enjoy the hop!!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me some love. Hugs!

Unity Hop {7 June 2017}

Hello and welcome to a new Unity release.  I love the new Unity subscription kit - Uniquely Unity Collection.  This is the first kit released - A Daisy and A Lady.

I made 2 cards which are similar.  The huge daisy is so easy to colour and I did some stenciling work in the background.

Next is a new kit Glowing and Beautiful, don't you just love those cute light bulbs?

Here is a card made using this month's KOTM - Time to enjoy Life.

I love how bright these fruits are and they are so fun to colour. KOTM is always my fave subscription kit.  This month's is once again packed with lots of fabulous stamps.

Lastly, here is another new kit released Hello Little Birdie.

A closer look, can you see the shimmer on the card?

Phew, that was a long post.  Hope you like the new new releases.  Please click to the Unity shop to get your favourite kits.

Unity Stamp and Misti Hop {26 May 2017}

Hello Everyone!
I am so excited to participate in this Awesome Blog Hop showcasing Unity Stamps and My Sweet Petunia's Misti tool.

I hope you came from Maureen's blog, and if you didn't you might want to start from the beginning at My Sweet Petunia.
I'm sure you will be inspired by all the wonderful creations as you hop with us.
If you would like to connect with me, you can find me on Instagram (@karylim) or on Pinterest (Karylim).

I had a great time playing with Misti, and also the Misti Creative Corners.
Here's my first card:

On this card, I created the background piece with Misti Creative Corners and Copic Markers. The markers I used are B14, RV55 and Y13.  I love how easy it is to create a simple background.

 I used the cute stamp Life is Better by Phyllis Harris, stamping with Misti makes it so easy to get a perfect impression.

For my second card I used the Angie Girl - Missing You Girl stamp and coloured her with Copic Markers and fussy cut around the image.  The background piece is created with Distress Oxide inks. After inking the piece I sprayed a thin mist of water on it.  When it dried, I added another layer of Frost Sheer Shimmer Spritz to give it a really sparkly effect. When everything is dry, I used the Misti to stamp the sentiment at the bottom right corner. I really love how easy it is to get my sentiment stamped perfectly and exactly where I want it to be.  I embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder and assembled the card.

Here is a close up.  It looks so pretty in real life.

My third card is basically a one layer card using Phyllis Harris' Always From the Heart stamp set.  I adore this image and the lovely sentiment.  I wanted the sentiment in a light blue ink so it goes with the rest of the image - I stamped it several times with the Misti.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Your next stop is the lovely Kia Gibson-Clapper.

Here are all the links below in case you get lost or a link is broken.
Please remember to comment along the way and as a token of appreciation, there are wonderful prizes to be won along the way - 3 prize packs from Unity and winner's choice of an Original or Mini MISTI. How Awesome is that!!
