Do you have any favourites on your wishlist or a present for a friend?  This weekend is a great time to get them.

I am SO in Love with this range of new tiny Fashionistas.  This is my fave - Casey.  Isn't she the cutest girl?

Inspired Stamps - Card for Mum

It's almost time for Mother's Day.  Have you made a card for your mum?  I'm guilty all the time with last minute cards for my mum.  Inspired Stamps have some pretty flowers which are always great on cards for Mothers.

I stamped the roses on watercolour paper and coloured it with Distress Markers and a wet brush.  I know my mum love roses and all kinds of flowers and she will appreciate this card.

The stamp set I used is found here.

Thank you for visiting me.  Have a great weekend!

Inspired Stamps - Spring card

It's Spring celebration this week with Inspired Stamps!  It's odd to think of Spring when the weather is getting colder down south :)  Nevertheless a bright cheerful card is always fun to make.

This technique is a classic one using markers (I used Distress Ink markers) on the stamp image and stamped on watercolour paper.  I love the bright flowers and I thought it would be nice to pair the image with the Scripture sentiment from Psalms 118:1.  Nature always reminds us of the greatness of God and his amazing creation.

The stamp sets I've used are Thank You, Garden Builder set and Be Still Silhouettes.

Have a beautiful day and thank you for visiting me.

Hymn Girl - Praying for you

We are sharing a project using the Inspired Stamps Hymn Girls today.  The Hymn Girls line has been very popular - they are perfect for any occasion cards.

This card started out as a one layer card, coloured with Distress Markers.  Later I decided it needed some layering to add interest and to finish off the card.  The Hymn Girl stamp is found on this link.

Please visit the Inspired Stamps blog to see more ideas with Hymn Girls today.

Finally, here's a card I made with the Scripture sentiment from Romans 5:1 to remind myself of the hope we have as a result of the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Have a meaningful celebration this Good Friday and Easter.

Thank you for visiting me.  Take care!
