Unity Thursday Hop 30-07-2014

Hello Everyone!  It's time to hop again with Unity, woo-hoo!! It's been hard going this week - I was a little short of inspiration.  I knew these were the images I wanted to use and finally managed to put them all together.  Hope you'll enjoy them.

First project is a tag.  We don't really celebrate Halloween here, but I really like Esmerelda Girl.  She looks really cool!

Next is an image that I've been wanting to colour and finally did it.  The lovely girl from the July KOTM.. by the way, this is the last day to purchase this kit before the new August Kit is out.

Now for the fun part - we have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Saturday night on the Unity blog.

Enjoy the hop!

The Scripture sentiment is on the inside of the card...

Hope you like the card idea.  For more inspiration please visit the Inspired Stamps Blog.

Unity FWF 25-07-2014

Hello Friends!  It's been a long while since I played along with Unity FWF, so glad to be able to share something today.

I have known quite a number of friends who are cancer survivors and some still undergoing treatment.  Today I'm sharing a card I made sometime ago which was given to the cards ministry in church using Cure Girls set.

I hope the card will bless someone who is fighting this dreaded disease.

My second card is using the new released Angie Girl - Miranda.  This is a great stamp for any celebration and I love her outfit.

Check out the Unity Tag sale happening this weekend - Angela always has something special for everyone.

Thank you for visiting me.  Have a great weekend!!

Luke 2:14 (tree)

 Here's my first card:
Just simple plain stamping, it's a card that can be mass produced - really quick and easy.

My second card include stamping and heat embossing with some Distress inks.

The third card is more my usual style, colouring with Copic markers and I added some fine glitter around the Christmas tree.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Poinsettia set.

The patterned papers I used are Bazzill 6x6 Nordic Pines.

Here are the 3 cards once more:

Your next stop on the hop is Belinda who has another wonderful set of cards to share with you.

All the Christmas stamps are on SALE starting today for a week at Inspired Stamps.  No coupon code is required, all items are with their Sale Prices.

Unity Thursday Hop - 16-07-2014

Happy Thursday!  Thanks for joining us once again in the Unity Thursday hop.  I hope you are having a great week.

Today I have a couple of cards to share.  The first card is using Angie Girl Stronger than Anyone - Jessica.

Close up on the hearts corner

Here's my second card using the July KOM and the gorgeous Gina and Me papers.

Keeping the post short so you can click over to see some Awesome project from Kassi.

Enjoy the Hop!

Justified by Faith

So glad you stopped by today.  The Inspired Stamps team is sharing a project using the recent releases, and I have chosen to share the Scripture sentiment from Romans 5:1 and Hymn Girls:Patriotic w Star.

This is a favourite verse which I memorised as a young girl and every time I recite it, I can't help but acknowledge how faithful God has been to me.  I paired the verse with the sweet Hymn Girl - I wanted to share that even though it is a patriotic theme but one can use it on other non-patriotic cards.

It's the time of year when Antoinette (owner of Inspired Stamps) is about to design Fall and Christmas stamps.  Once again, she is inviting ideas from everyone and a contest.  If your idea is selected, Antoinette will send you two sets of the stamps created from your idea, one for you to keep and one for you to giveaway.  To join the contest, you are invited to share your stamp idea on the Thursday DT Post on the Inspired Stamps blog or on the Inspired Stamps Facebook page by midnight Wednesday July 23rd.  The winners will be announced on July 24th on the Inspired Stamps Blog and FB page.  Visit the Inspired Stamps blog to read all about it.

Can't wait to read your ideas!

Thank you for visiting me.

Inspired Stamps July Release

Hello Friends!  Today is July Release day for Inspired Stamps!!  More of your favourite Hymn Girls with Scripture and other Sentiments are released today.  I'm sure you will want to check them out.

I am showcasing the new Hymn Girls : Sitting Right.  This set comes with the sweet Hymn Girl and a Scripture sentiment.  Here is my card.

I created a card which can be framed.  The red cardstock is embossed using an embossing plate, and I adhered the sentiment in the centre and placed the Hymn Girl on the side.  I love how easy this card came together.

Please visit the Inspired Stamps Blog to see all the Design Team projects and also the entire July Release.

Happy Shopping!

29 Again...?

Today is a really wet, wet, wet day.  It's been raining all day and so what better way to spend the day than making cards.  I've not been keeping up with making birthday cards,  and have loads of stamps and dies which I have been neglecting.  Somehow I always end up buying products faster than I can use them... sound familiar?

This is a card for a friend, whom I know won't mind a little teasing about his age.

I used the Paper Smooches stamp sets Surf and Turf and Birthday Sampler to make this fun card.  I love building a scene for my cards and the Surf & Turf critters are just perfect.  I also used the Border 1 Dies to create the sea and the land.  Thinking the card was a little bare, I added some white and gold glitter embossing powder on the kraft land section.

Hope you like the card ;)

Unity Thursday Hop 03-06-2014

So very excited to be in this week's special hop celebrating the friendship between Angela and Gina.  It's especially dear to me too as these are the two companies that really got me into stamping in a big way.  I love Gina's products and I have made such lovely friends hanging out at StampTV (and met some of them in person too).

In some ways this card has a dual message, one to describe the support both Angela and Gina has given each other, and that I too can't imagine a life without stamps from these two wonderful companies.  How blessed I have been to have found such wonderful friends in the craft industry too.

Look at this beautiful Unity stamp set - Gina and Me...

and how perfectly it goes with this Kit by Gina.

Hop along with us, because you could win this awesome prize...

There are TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to give away.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Saturday night on the Unity blog.

Have fun!

My Soul...

Wow, it's Thursday again, and this week we are focusing on Red, Blue and White project with Hymn Girls.  My project uses the Hymn Girls : December and the set Thinking of You.

I stamped the flowers on white cardstock and coloured them with Copic markers and hand cut the edges of the flowers.

Please visit the Inspired Stamps Blog for more inspiration from the DT.

Have a great weekend and Happy Independence Day to my friends in the US!

Thank you for visiting me.
