Every Breath...

Hi!  Last week, at work, we moved office, and I wanted a little something on my desk so I could look at it whenever the day gets stressful or when things don't always go right.

I coloured the PH image in my favourite shade of blue, and framed it.  Love the sentiment too.  Every breath is a gift, and life must be spent wisely. I just have to remind myself that despite all the craziness in my life right now, I have a choice to behave and react in a positive manner.  It's not easy, but hopefully, I can do my part to make things better where God has placed me.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and I am so thankful for all your encouraging comments - it means the world to me.

Take care!

Inspired Stamps - HLO Character and Scripture

Hi!  Today I have an Inspired Stamps card to share which uses the HLO Winter Boy and scripture from Psalms 55.  The weather has been rather cold this week, and work has been crazy, so perhaps this is a card for myself :)

Please visit the Inspired Stamps blog for more inspiration from the Design Team.

TSB Challenge #65 - Colour Challenge

A new challenge starts today at The Stamping Boutique - it's challenge #65 based on the colours of the picture above.  I'm not very good with colour challenges, but that's what a challenge is all about, isn't it?  Even if, it's outside our comfort zone.  So, here's my card:

I used another of Tracey's new Christmas images, the cute Christmas Mouse.   I hope you'll play along, and you can find all the details here.

Have a great week!

My thoughts are with You

How was your week?  I had such a busy time at work and I'm so ready for the weekend!  There are so many friends on my mind lately, and I wish I have more time to sit down and write them a card.  I should get started this weekend :)

This card was the result of my trying to find different colour combos to see if they work.  What do you think?  Maybe I'm not thinking nor seeing straight after a long day at work :) It's past midnight here and I'm still working away and taking short breaks to finish up the card and write this post. Such is life for now.

The Unity stamp sets used are Tulips and Daisies and Face the Sunshine (sentiment).

Thank you for visiting me, and wishing you a great weekend!

Inspired Stamps - Christmas Card

Wow, I can't believe we're already halfway through September.  Perhaps it's time to start making the Christmas cards! If you are thinking along the same line, please join us today at Inspired Stamps, because we are showcasing Christmas Cards.

I challenged myself to use a non-Christmas stamp on my card.  The stamped image is HLO:Girl Praying and the sentiment from Vintage Christmas.  I did some paper piecing and colouring on the HLO character and assembled the card.  Tell me what you think :)

Please visit the Inspired Stamps blog for more ideas from the Design Team.

Life Is...

It's late Friday night, and it feels so good to know the weekend is almost here.  Just finished this card for Unity FWF post.

I've had this stamp for some time but I don't know why I've never inked it.  She's really cute, isn't she?  She is yet another Phyllis Harris stamp - I guess you know they are my favourite Unity stamp line.

Well, I'm off to do some cleaning before calling it a night.  Tomorrow, I should do some gardening, as there's weed in my garden, and I've been waiting for some sunshine to spray the weed killer. I can't wait to get the artificial lawn put in.  Can you tell I really dislike gardening?  LOL!

Happy weekend!

I Made This For You

I love this little sentiment which says it all in this card.  Sometimes, that's all that's needed for a card.  This is a trifold card, which has a pocket for a giftcard inside.  (Sorry I forgot to take a pic of the inside)  I used the Waltzing Mouse Stamp set Country Labels 14 , to create the belly band to hold the card.

I couldn't get a better photo than this cos the sun has gone down and the lighting isn't good.  I added some little rolled flowers underneath the labels.

The sketch I'm playing along is the Bedtime Story sketch found here:
PAJAMA-PARTY-sketch-2
There are so many gorgeous entries, but there's still time to play along.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a great day!

Inspired Stamps - Fall Colours

Hi Friends! Today's Inspired Stamps project is create a card with Fall Colours.  I can hardly think of Autumn because it's Spring Downunder :)  I am really looking forward to longer sunshine and warmer days.

I used the Stamp set "Comfort" on this card.  I love the flower pots - I think they make the card cheerful.  For times when things are not going great, we need a card that brings comfort and cheer at the same time.

Thank you for visiting me.

Hello Friends!  I am new to The Stamping Boutique team, and I am just over the moon to be working with the wonderful, talented Design Team.  I have been a fan of Tracey Malnofski's work eversince I discovered her line of Unity stamps, and I am now so  honoured to be on her Design Team.

Today, we're kicking off a new Challenge, and it's a Christmas project.  Tracey has just released some awesome new Christmas images and they are all so Adorable!!

For my card, I used the Birds and Stockings image.  I love this fun winter image, the little birds and their stockings are just so cute.

I haven't decorated the inside yet, just need to find a fun sentiment to make the card complete.

I'd like to invite you to play along with us in the Challenge, details are found at The Stamping Boutique Challenge blog. There will be prizes going out to the 3 best projects.  It's also a great time to take advantage of the Sale happening right now at The Stamping Boutique store Reopening Sale with 40% off everything.
