Thinking about You

For today's Inspired Stamps project, we're sharing artwork based on the theme of "Love".  I guess it's really appropriate with the whole world celebrating Valentine's Day this week.  For me, it's a time to reflect and celebrate friends and family who love us and have always been there for us.

I used the heart from the set "Guard Your Heart" and stamped it on a piece of patterned paper with red ink.  The heart piece was layered on another similar patterned paper and I stamped the 1.5" round sentiment from the set "1.5" Circle Greetings" off on the side.  The bottom section of the circle sentiment was coloured with Copic marker (R01) to match the patterned paper.  The heart was adhered to an embossed cardbase, and I couldn't resist adding some washi tapes and a flourish diecut to finish off the card.

Are you joining us in the 52 Weeks of Gratitude?  Check out the March Gratitude set which is on special - six 2x2 Scripture stamps for just $18.  Antoinette is also releasing some new 2x2 Scripture stamps tomorrow! They will be on sale at noon on the webstore. These sets are perfect for card sets and everyday sentiments.

Please visit the Inspired Stamps blog to check out some fabulous inspiration from the Design Team.

Thank you for visiting me.

Love this card Kary - it is really pretty.
I was hoping to do the 52 weeks of gratitude, but some health issues have caught up with me, as well as life in general, so I am having to slow down on some things. As this was an extra, I am backing away from the artwork side of it - I do have a wee 'gratitude journal that I have kept for some years now, so that will continue.
