Unity Friends with Flair - 17 June

Hello Unity Friends!!  It's that fun time where we get to be inspired by all the creative Unity fans.  I can't wait to see what everyone has made this week! Come join us and comment and you can win some Unity stamps - click here to start!

Here's my card:

Can you see the shimmer on the sand?
I had an awesome surprise this week because my June KOM arrived early!!  YAY!!  I really love the summer inspired images.  So, no suprises that my card has that fabulous image I've been dying to ink up eversince the Kit was revealed!  I stamped the image on a white cardstock and coloured it with copic markers and cut it out.  I stamped the image again with the help of a Stamp-a-ma-jig on the patterned paper and popped the cut out image above it. The sentiments are from 3 separate stamps (any guesses how I got the word "on"?) and I cut them apart to form the words I wanted.

Here's that superb kit:

Have you seen the new challenge on the Unity blog?  Ink up your summer images and play along with us.

Hope you like the card, and I'm off to do some hopping!!

Papers : Webster's Pages Yacht Club 6x6 pad

Lovely colourful and cheerful card - gives me hope when we are cold, overcast and wet :-(.
I can see you stamped 'you' twice and then trimmed and turned it to get 'on'. Well done.
Blessings

The first thing that struck me when I saw your card was the cool palm tree that complimented your beach image...then, the great coloring of your image, then the sewing, then...then...then the rest. Just gorgeous. And since i think like you do when faced with a need for a word, I say tat you used the stamp-a-ma-jig to make the word "on" from the word "counting"? *smile*

This is amazing, Kary! I couldn't cut apart any stamps unless I was sure I would never want to use them together again. You are so brave and I love the result!
